9. References to past Doctors. (Doctor Who)
10. Outsider POV is delightful to me. I think it's great. Particularly about romance pairings or time travel.
General dislikes
1. Trauma to eyes or feet or spine. If you want to go in a darker direction, that’s fine, as long as it has a good ending, but please none of the above during the darker stuff.
2. Bathroom play. If you go in a smutty direction, please keep it pretty vanilla, or at least no bathroom play.
3. Porn without plot. I like my porn to be full of feelings at the least, and I prefer there to be something other than just porn.
4. Non-con/dub-con
5. Jedi Order bashing. A little is okay, but I view them as flawed people trying their best to do good.
6. Jealousy as a major emotion/plot point/motivator. I hate jealousy stories. They're boring and I just want them to be able to work it out. I mean, jealousy is a normal emotion that people feel sometimes, so a bit is okay so long as they get over it and it's not a major part of the story because that's just frustrating to me.
Doctor Who:
So this is an obviously fitting fandom for this exchange, but I'll admit to being picky about how the time travel works fitting canon. Obviously DW canon is a bit of a mess, but I do hope if you choose this fandom that you don't do the whole "breaking a fixed point in time" thing, or completely rewriting a character's past. Luckily Doctor Who also has a habit of giving characters convenient amnesia, re: Doctor doesn't remember meeting past selves, re: River (amongst others) having amnesia lipstick or whatever, so feel free to make liberal use of them forgetting stuff if you want to bend that request a little. :)
So my requests: obviously I adore Jenny and River Song and a big reason why I requested so much of them both is because I really really love the family aspect of the show, and I also really like when people are surprised by a character's life choices, so I would LOVE LOVE LOVE content of earlier Doctors or companions or enemies learning about the fact that the Doctor got married?? Or that he has a daughter??
I also love multiple Doctors meeting each other so that is also a lovely optional thing I'd enjoy. As for the River&Rose tag, I really want them to get along with each other, at worst maybe having some initial tension but getting over it. I really hate jealousy storylines.
I'd also really love some Jenny and River stuff because they're family! Sort of! And it's canon-ish that River, though happy as she was, would have liked to have a family if she could have, and she's SO sweet with CAL, so I would really love step-mum River because she can have a family without needing to risk timelines and stuff so much bc Jenny already exists! And similarly I'd love some River and Susan stuff, or Susan and Jenny, or all three because family fluff is my lifeline.
Also, Five met Jenny in one of the audio adventures and thought she was great and it fulfilled my life, so if maybe a sneak mention of that could be included, I'd adore it. Of course, not everyone listens to those so if you don't want to include that it's a-okay by me.
As for the River Song and Time Lords/River and The Master tags, I'd goddamn love to see some other Time Lords react to River's whole existence, let alone the fact that she's MARRIED to the DOCTOR, that weirdo renegade. I think it would be delightful, and I'll frankly never forgive the show for bringing the Time Lords back immediately after Eleven said his final farewell to River because even though THORS happened, I have always been desperate for content of Time Lords not knowing what to make of River and River being herself around those uppity assholes, and it's a slap in the face that as soon as she left (lol, "left") the Time Lords came back so I never got that particular delight.
Sixth Doctor/Peri/River - I am honestly stunned that no one has written this yet, given that Big Finish provides lifeblood to the Six/Peri shippers and they recently had Six and River being super cute together in the Diary of River Song series.
Six and Peri are my argumentative OTP. They do that bicker-flirt thing, but they also super care about each other from like, day one. They're adorable. And I love River and the Doctor together because Eleven is such a "that's my WIFE! :}" type of man and that's the only way I ever ship a man and a woman together. (What, you say Six and Peri are a man and woman and they don't fit that as much? Well 1. How dare you imply that Six wouldn't verbally eviscerate someone who insulted Peri, particularly later on, and 2. Six is nonbinary, obviously, so it's not the same anyway.)
Also, Peri is definitely bi. I decided this because I wanted to headcanon as being a lesbian to spite straight men who objectify her, but that is hard to do given that Six is not a woman. So bi it is. And River is actually canonically into more than one gender, so yeah. Let them be cute together.
I fucking love Missy. She was my favorite version of the Master from day one, and after the Vault arc I loved her even more. I would be so happy with a version of Missy who is less of a total evil asshole (still not exactly a role model by any means, but less of an asshole) meeting some earlier Doctors or companions and the natural awkwardness that would arise from there bc that would be excellent fun I'm sure. I mean, yeah the season finale "killed her" but who really believes that DW would permanently kill off the Master, I mean really. Also, let Missy kiss a girl! Her and Clara have been a favorite rare pair of mine for a while and Clara and less-of-an-asshole Missy? um, fuck yeah. And I'd never thought of her and Bill before I saw it as an option here but it sounds great. Bill is one of my favorite companions, and I'd love her to just be endlessly annoyed by Missy but also eventually become rather fond of her. Missy (all Masters really) is just like a cat who REALLY wants to annoy you but also doesn't care what you think but also kind of really really does care if you are someone who matters to her (which is rare, but I mean, look at them and the Doctor.)
Hunger Games:
I'm thrilled THG was nommed for this, because I have really been wanting a time travel story for the Hunger Games, but they don't... exist. I put the "parent/caretaker travels back in time with child in tow" tag bc what I really really want is for Haymitch from Catching Fire/Mockingjay/Post-Mockingjay (in my mind the later the better, but I'm not gonna demand it if you want to write it different) to end up in the past with Katniss and Peeta and for the other Victors to be kind of shocked at how much of a dad he is with them. Because he's kind of, you know, drunk asshole a lot of the time, and while the Victors know and (some) care about him, I don't think that's exactly a relationship dynamic they'd expect him to have one day. Because Haymitch can be a snarky rude drunk AND a wonderful protective dad figure at the same time THANK YOU.
I also think him and Effie are cute, and Effie being a mom to Katniss and Peeta is also very sweet, so if she were to come along also, that would be a nice bonus, or if there were to be a weird disconnect between younger Effie and how they know of her later on that would also be very cool with me. Or even just a reference to the fact that Haymitch and Effie are together in their future (if that's what you write) would be appreciated.
I don't super care about the rest of the story beyond that really. If you do a fix-it kind of thing where the Rebellion happens earlier and less people die that's cool, but honestly, I just want past characters reacting to dad!Haymitch and Haymitch/Effie.

I love Star Wars time travel fics SO much guys. And my main man is Obi-Wan. He's a delight. I love him so much. I ship him and Satine and him and Cody and all three of them so a reference to that would be lovely if you want to write it, but you definitely don't have to. All the platonic tags are relationships I also love (platonically) and I'd love to see some of those guys interacting with each other, either when they're all from the same time, or when some of them are from different times.
I put Count Dooku in specifically for the tag about "Time Travel fix-it - Derailing the Bad Guy's Descent into Evil" because I've always thought that would be a very interesting idea for an au. I'm fascinated by the fact that Obi-Wan is part of Dooku's lineage so tying that in might be super cool. One thing I've only seen referenced by someone is the idea of Luke trying to bring Dooku back to the light in a time travel fic which is honestly amazing, because Luke is such a good boy, and the idea of him looking at this lost member of his lineage and saying "hey, I want to help you" is so sweet and wonderful and so very Luke that I love it.
Derailing the Bad Guy's Descent Into Evil also works very well with Anakin obviously, but I think that's been done A LOT in this fandom so I'd love to see some more fix-its where things are still fixed but in a different way than just "kill Palpatine and stop Anakin from falling" because while those are great, there are SO many of them, and we have space here to be more creative.
I also think Obi-Wan interacting with Rey would be cool, because they've both led lives where they have needed to be very patient for things to get fixed, like Obi-Wan in the desert knowing that he is not in a position to make change re the Empire so he watches over Luke because that's something he CAN do right now, versus Rey waiting for her family until finally she realizes she can't wait forever for them and she needs to take action would be really interesting to explore I think. Because they're both very wonderful people and Jedi, but those are two really different outcomes/reasons to wait on a (desert) planet for around two decades.
I really like the merging with past self because I don't like the idea of the past character just getting wiped out because 1) paradoxes bother me and 2) it's sad :( I don't like sad. So preferably either the future people jump back physically and there's like two of them in the same timeline or they just kind of mush into their past selves mentally. My guidelines are that I like when the character doesn't exactly feel like they're an old person, but doesn't exactly feel like they're a young person either.
The tags about like sharing a body with past self would preferably be with Force Ghost characters or known to be temporary and the character will go back to their own time because otherwise I can imagine being forced to be in your body with another version of yourself would be TORTURE.
I also think advising past self is slightly different because for that I'm imagining like, seeing a ghost type thing of yourself who can go where they want and stuff and isn't tied to you permanently because again, TORTURE otherwise.
